The Watchtower doesn't believe that Jesus was resurrected. They believe that Jesus was re-created and his body turned to gases.

Most Christians simply believe that the Resurrection really happened and that is the simple foundation for their faith. Churches are there so that like-minded people can hear the word of God, be encouraged and fellowship with one-another.
Scripture says that perfect love throws out fear. So, if you are in a church that uses fear to control, you are in the wrong church. It's pretty smple to figure out. I've attended dozens of churches over the years and have never encountered ANYTHING like the Wtachtower. It is a fake church and would be condemned by Jesus every bit as much as he condemned the Pharisees. It is an abomination.

they just relaxed the preaching work and recommended we just engage in casual conversation. Now they're bitching to the elders in their latest letter that not enough bible studies are being started!
I must admit that it is entertaining and gratifying to see them implode.

Are JWs becoming more militant?
by Vidqun inafter their courtcase in norway going wrong, splane actually warns lawmakers that they will be in big trouble if they don't change their ways.
he's referring to the preaching work, which has nothing to do with the case.
it's all about their treatment of ex-jws.

I have heard them described in Baptist circles as "the devil's Marine Corp."

I for one don’t believe there is a ten year, five year, or any year plan; the GB is too stupid for that.
Normally, I would agree with that assessment, but the GB has too much money for "stupid". I agree with the theory that their legal department is calling most of the shots now.
Where there is a carcass, the lawyers will be there to feed on it. -

I simply kept my mouth shut and refused to acknowledge the authority of the Watchtower any longer since thay have a 100% failure rate in predicing Christ's return, the geneartion of his return and a bunch of other flip flops as well.
Took about 8 years to get a new identity. I believe with the help that is available now from various ministries, it could be much shorter now.
After that, I knew how to defend myself and never looked back. What you see is what you get.

Spoiled little sissy brat can't stand it that he can't fly under the "religious freedom" smokescreen any longer. Poor baby.

If they ever remove it,,, they will be sued out of existence.
Meanwhile, the beatings (murders) will continue until moral improves.

How Does WT Explain away, "Absent from the Body, Present with the Lord"?
by Sea Breeze in5now he that wrought us for this very thing is god, who gave unto us the earnest of the spirit.6being therefore always of good courage, and knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the lord 7(for we walk by faith, not by sight); 8we are of good courage, i say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the lord.
9wherefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well-pleasing unto him.. since watchtower teaches there is only one "you" and not three (soul, body & spirit); how do jw's deal with the fact that scripture says that it is possible for a person to be absent from their body and to be present with the lord in heaven?when i was pioneering, i don't recall a householder every dropping this verse on me; and i'm not sure how i would have handled it if they did.
what say you?.

It is totally different than WT teaching and we all know it.
